The historical society’s major endeavor is to tell the story of the battle and the effects of Ewing’s Order #11 on the area. We thank you for joining our efforts to raise much-needed funds and public awareness and for your kind donation to honor the sacrifices of the men who died in the battle.
Preserving and expanding this heritage park site for tourists, history buffs, and students to enjoy and study is good not only for the people and businesses of Lone Jack; but also for those of the surrounding area including Lee’s Summit.
