| Below you will find the cemeteries of Van Buren Township. A majority of these cemeteries are in Lone Jack and surrounding areas. As we transcribe and photograph these cemeteries, we will be posting them online. PLEASE NOTE: Some of these cemeteries are located on private property and can not be seen from the road. If you would like to visit one of them, please contact the Lone Jack Historical Society. Missouri law states that descendants must be granted ingress and egress during reasonable hours. If you contact the Historical Society for information, it is our policy not to give out phone numbers of the land owners but we will be VERY HAPPY to help arrange a visit for you. Many cemeteries have photos attached. |
